Merchants Bonding Company is continuing to grow its presence in West Des Moines with the construction of a new 34,000 sq. ft. addition to their corporate office, making room for new staff.
Project Description
Merchants Bonding Company originally completed its 45,000 sq. ft. corporate office building in 2015. Due to exciting growth within the company, they will be undertaking work to construct a 3-story, 34,000 sq. ft. office addition to their building, allowing their workforce and local presence to grow. The building will also feature amenity space on the 3rd floor that will allow for company gathering spaces, meeting rooms, and a place to hold events and entertain clients, and new building-mounted signage facing I-80, providing high visibility to the building. Merchants Bonding Company has been in existence since 1933 and is one of Iowa’s top providers of commercial surety bonds, which are financial guarantees that ensure a party will fulfill their contractual obligations.
